Super Bowl Sunday

-

Is it really a "Super Sunday"?  While Eagle and Patriot fans are basking in the glory of football greatness today, the rest of us are only planning to watch the Super Bowl for the commercials and Justin Timberlake's halftime performance. In fact, I know some football fans who are planning to boycott the big game altogether.

This may be the most alienating Super Bowl of all times. Two of the most hated teams in the NFL franchise are going head to head, and if there was a chance that neither team could walk away with the Lombardi trophy more of us might watch. I mean how many rings can we give Tom Brady?!?! If you're a New England fan I know you are rolling your eyes knowing that you've got a real GOAT (greatest of all time) playing for you but for the love of God spread the love!!!!

Being a Panthers fan I am still holding on to a little animosity from Super Bowl XXXVIII when our Carolina Cats took on the Pats in Houston Texas, only to come up empty-handed. I know, I know, it was a long time ago but football pride runs deep.

Since I only plan on watching the Super Bowl tonight for JT's halftime performance I am boycotting the whole rah-rah and jersey thing this year. Instead, I plan on wearing this little number.

I found a similar top from Nordstrom that comes in a multitude of colors and the skirt from Shein is so affordable!
