Hello Sunshine

Hello Sunshine! I love a weekend that is 90 and sunny! It makes me feel like I'm on vacation. 

Now, if only I had a babysitter and a cocktail!

Since I have neither of those things, I plan on spending the majority of this weekend staying cool in the pool. The swimming pool is two-fold for me. It gives Cashton something to do while staying cool and it wears him out! 

That's the name of the game people because when the baby sleeps, you sleep! (In theory)

Palm Fronds in Paradise

If you are looking for the perfect swimsuit this summer, the sexy one-piece is the way to go!

I found this adorable one-piece suit at Red Dress Boutique and it was perfect for a South Florida vacation! Very Palm Beach Darling! 

While this suit doesn't offer a ton of support for the girls, it is great for a smaller busted woman like myself. I also have a longer torso and I was fine with my normal small size. 

After having a baby I typically rely on a one-piece suit to hide some lingering baby weight and this suit gave me coverage in all the right places! It also features a cute criss-cross back.  

As you know palm print is going to be huge this summer and this pattern adds a fun twist to the typically solid one-piece suit.

Vacation Threads

Hola, from South Florida! You guys know I love sharing my vacation threads with you when I'm out of town!

All week I have been featuring some of my favorite beach looks of the year. These two outfits are by Red Dress Boutique and they were perfect for the warm sunny weather in Florida! If you are planning a getaway (or as soon as this weather gets warmer) these looks are perfect to lounge around in or dress up for date night! 

In fact, my mom watched Cashton for Dallas and I, while we had a little date night of our own. This gorgeous palm maxi was my "go to" for dinner at Truluck's in our old stomping grounds. Monday nights (during season) Truluck's has all you can eat Stone Crabs on special and let's just say we got our money's worth! 

The beautiful blue floral romper was for our casual "Easter on the Beach"! We had a low key day with a walk to the park for Cash and dinner on the Avenue. 

As you can see I get a ton of use out of this chic bamboo bag. It literally goes with everything and I get compliments on it all the time! You need this bag for Spring and Summer! 

As we wound down Easter eve, I couldn't help but think about the things I am most thankful for, and this time spent with family was at the top of my list!

Vacation OOTD

As most of you know I do a morning radio show here in Charlotte, North Carolina and we are currently being featured on the television show, My Big Fat Fabulous Life on TLC. Well Maney and Roy, my counter parts, got asked to LA to film this season’s reunion show and since I was on materitey leave for most of this season I got left behind.

No worries! Here is something you will learn about me… I LOVE TO TRAVEL and given the day off, nine times out of ten I will be on the road. So, since our show had off this past Friday for filming… I was off to Florida!

Dune Jewelry

It’s cold outside and you might need a reminder of warmer days. Dune Jewelry is an awesome company that takes sand from AROUND THE WORLD and turns it into jewelry to commemorate trips or remind you of home. 

They have rings, bangles, earrings and more! When I was picking my necklace out I couldn’t decide between sand from Positano Italy or my hometown. (They are all so different and beautiful)  

I decided to go with Fort Lauderdale, Florida sand however, that way I would always have a little piece of home!
