Back On The Wagon!

-

Vacation is over. Time to get back on the meal prep and fitness wagon!

After a week of Spring Break in Florida, void of workouts and healthy home cooked meals, it is back to reality! Dallas and I are usually pretty good about meal prepping for the week but on vacation, you are a victim of sodium-filled foods when you eat out.

Being 33 years old and having a baby has completely changed my body. When I was in my 20's I could diet for 2 weeks, do moderate workouts, and lose 10 pounds like that! Now, that is not even remotely the case.

Recently I've had to add an extra element to my weekly routine. Juicing has been something extremely beneficial to my body. I will occasionally do a "juice cleanse" but my normal week consists of ordering juices on Monday and having one per day all week.

As far as my workouts go ... I have to be honest. I am not a pillar of religious athletics and with a toddler, I'm lucky to get a load of laundry done some days! If I actually make it to a workout it's a BIG day for me, but I can swing it maybe 3 times a week. I am not a cross fitter and I probably don't do cardio as often as I should, but I know my body and I know what I enjoy.

News flash! If you don't enjoy it, you won't keep up with it!

I personally love hot yoga! I have a studio I love and they have a class schedule that fits my lifestyle! So, it's a match made in heaven!

One thing I'm not a fan of is running. I will do it because I know I need to, but it's not something that I can do every day. So sometimes I will opt to take a spinning class instead.

Of course, while I get my sweat on, I love to do it in style. Here's a cute look that I frequently wear while doing my cardio.
