Sundays With Cashmere

Although I would LOVE to be curled up on the couch with a cashmere blanket right now, that's not quite the kind of cashmere I had in mind. I was thinking more along the lines of Cupcakes and Cashmere!

I know you ladies know all about this chic line and I found the perfect LBD (little black dress) that you can dress up or down. Great for going out or church on Sundays. Although I love to dress up my day to day style is more laid back so I chose to dress down this look. 

I love the sheer accordion sleeves on this dress and when paired with some neutral booties and a vest you can take this outfit from day to night! The vest is from last season's BB Dakota line, however, I was still able to find it available on Poshmark.

Also if you don't have a great nude bootie in your closet these are the ones you need! They go with EVERYTHING, and I wear them in almost every post because they are so versatile.

If dressy is more your thing this LBD is quite the statement by itself as well! Throw on a great gold heel and some gold jewelry and off to dinner you go!

60 degrees December 2 ? Yes please! 

Now I am all about boots and shorts, but I know some people are afraid of the winter romper so let me show you how you can still rock your favorite romper year round.

This whole look is from fab'rik Birkdale and it was so easy to put together. I found a simple winter romper and layered it with this long cream vest. I chose a vest over a jacket so you could still appreciate the illusion bell sleeve detail.

I really feel like the long vest paired with shorts is an elongating look you cannot go wrong with. To stay with that theme I went with a long "Y" shaped necklace and found these Tory Burch inspired black above the ankle booties that I'm obsessed with!

Of course as the weather gets colder you can always change out the booties for an over the knee boot too!

Style Saturday

It is chilly outside! Break out the faux fur vests!

I love this time of year. I typically pick up some new pieces for my wardrobe to pair with older staples in my closet and this outfit is the perfect example of that.

I have had this vest since last season but Forever 21 has a similar one this year! The necklace is from Fabrik and I bought these Frye boots a few seasons ago but Frye always makes a replacement boot and these are the same style. What I really loved about my older boots was the texture and unfortunately, Frye doesn't seem to have anything like it yet this fall, but I will continue to keep my eye out for it!

This was an end of summer top that I refused to put away yet since I hadn't gotten the opportunity to wear it! You can always repurpose some of those tops you would typically put away, just think layers!
