Warm Weather. Finally!

-

Naturally, it is gorgeous in Charlotte this weekend and I chalk that up to the fact that I left for Florida yesterday. You're welcome Queen City.

Dallas, Cash and I are on spring break this coming week, so we hopped a flight to see my Mom in Fort Lauderdale.

This spring look, however, is perfect for Florida or North Carolina on a weekend like this. I know I'm not alone when I say that I am excited to pull out tee shirts, maxi skirts, and sandals... FINALLY!

Although this blush sequin maxi is sold out, I found a couple sizes left on eBay. It is originally from Anthropologie so be sure to size down as I think most of their stuff runs a little big.

This "After Me" french inspired tee is also from Anthro and has limited stock but it is on SALE. This tee does run TTS.

Waking up to the warm breeze of the ocean and the sound of the waves is exactly what I need to recharge my batteries. I can not wait to spend this week in the sun.

A Very Gatsby New Years Eve

-

Two posts in one day? What?!?

I know I don't typically post twice a day (although that is my goal for 2018) but I wanted to share another New Years Eve look with you before it sells out!

A couple years ago my girlfriends and I went to an awesome NYE event in Charlotte that had a Great Gatsby theme. The fashion was AMAZING everywhere you looked! That party inspired me to constantly have my eye out for that art deco glamour that I fell in love with. When I found this look, I knew I wanted to pass it along to all of you.

Not only is it the perfect (extra) little black dress but it is also perfect for New Years! Unfortunately, the black and gold is sold out but they have replaced it with a gorgeous white, silver, gold combo in the same print.

Throw on a great earring from Bauble Bar and a pair of nude shoes and you've got yourself a NYE look girl!

Sequin and Plaid - Fashion Friday

-

Happy Friday! I know it's cold and gloomy outside with this weather rolling in but look on the bright side ... It's still FRIDAY!

Dallas and I have a Champagne and Caviar holiday tasting tonight and I have been looking forward to this event at Petit Philippe all week. Now I know caviar is an acquired taste but who doesn't love champagne?

With this weather and my event tonight I wanted to put together a Friday look that was trendy and a little out of the box. You could rock this alternative glam look together as an outfit or wear all the pieces as separates and still be right on trend.

We've seen sequins on almost every designer runway this winter and plaid never goes out of style. Hope you enjoy this entire look from fab'rik Birkdale!
