4 For Fashion : Adair

-

Finally, fall fashion is in full swing and I couldn't be more excited to bring you this month's "4 For Fashion" looks courtesy of Adair boutique! This is a fun collaboration for Rachel, Laura, Barbi and myself because Adair just opened their second location in South End. Adair has lived in Concord for years and this new location brings even more affordable fashion, trends, and gifts to our uptown area.

Adair boutique not only has two full locations of inventory to choose from but also a full website of apparel for you to enjoy. Of course "4 For Fashion" is here to give you a look at Adair's trendy looks at all ages. Rachel from Queen City Chic is leading the pack with looks for your 20's. I am at the helm for my 30 something sisters. Laura from Smart Southern Style is representing our lovely ladies in their 4o's and Barbi from Southern Blonde Chic is rounding out our possie with looks you'll love in your 50's. It's fashion for all ages!

Rachel from Queen City Chic always has a style all of her own and I LOVE that! She put together this boho-chic ensemble that is to die for! Her suede skirt really pulls the natural colors out of this long sleeve off the shoulder blouse. Pair with a braid and this fabulous orb necklace and you are ready for a night out with the girls!

Playing off of Rachel's adorable off the shoulder style top, I chose to go with this black long sleeve basic. I went with this piece because I think it is an article that will work with many different body types, perfect for any wardrobe. Coincidentally, this orange fall dress was hanging right next to my black beauty and upon discovering it I decided they went great together! I paired them with these perfect snakeskin booties and fringe earrings also available at Adair.

Laura from Smart Southern Style takes on the honor of shopping for our ladies in their 40's and she always makes everything look so great! Laura is great about finding pieces with beautiful detail. This plaid button up boasts handstitched embroidery throughout the shoulders that really makes this look. Laura threw on her favorite pair of jeans and gorgeous gold hoop earrings to complete her casual style.

Last but certainly not least is our blonde bombshell from Southern Blonde Chic! Barbi opted to embrace all that fall fashion has to offer! How can you not love an aubergine long sleeve and a hand knitted duster vest?! This statement piece looks amazing with Barb's blonde hair, jeans, and necklace!

Adair really has something for everyone in the way of fashion! As you can see we had no problem putting together show-stopping looks that look great and are age appropriate for anyone. Now that we have started your creative process feel free to check out Adair's Instagram for more looks that you will love! Their stylist are always on hand to help you put together a look for any occasion or to help you shop for a gift your friends will love!

You can shop Adair's Concord location at 6185 Bayfield Pkwy or at their NEW South End location at 1820 South Blvd!

I also want to give a special thank you to Say Cheese CLT for providing our group with some really fabulous photos for this weeks blog post!

4 For Fashion : Scout and Molly's

-

Happy Friday's Eve! We are counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until the clock strikes 5:00pm tomorrow afternoon!

We're also looking ahead to your weekend wardrobe! This week "4 For Fashion" is checking out Scout and Molly's in the Specialty Shops at South Park.

If you're new to the blog, let me explain what 4 For Fashion is. We are a group of local fashion bloggers that believe you can be stylish at any age! Each one of us caps an age bracket in our 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's. We are all different ages and have very different styles and that is the beauty of what we do.

This week at Scout and Molly's we were all able to find looks that we loved. They had a ton to choose from and their accessories are gorgeous! You may notice as you explore this post, that all four of us fell in love with Scout and Molly's South American handmade bags. Each one is even more beautiful and unique than the next!

Scout and Molly's also had a great selection of casual and dressy trends that range from summer style to fall transition.

Let's kick things off with Rachel's look from Queen City Chic! Rachel is in her 20's and her boho chic style never goes unnoticed. I love the casual statement she made while styling this look. Her bucket bag is the center of this ensemble and she chose bold neutrals to accent and revolve around this handmade purse.

My outfit today is representative of the 30 something stylish mom on the go. I chose this look because, as a young mom myself I don't want to lose my identity or give up my passion for fashion after having a child. These modern cargo shorts and fringe textured top still allow me to run after my 2-year-old while looking smart and sophisticated. However, the real show stopper of this look are the accessories! The earrings, necklace, and cuff all accent this clean casual suit perfectly.

Laura from Smart Southern Style is up next for the 40's crowd. I always love Laura's styling because she really knows how to add a pop of color to take an outfit to the next level. Case and point! Laura found these perfectly tailored jeans at Scout and Molly's and pair them with this vertical striped linen blue top. Now let's talk about that pink! Of course, I love the blue tassel necklace she chose as well but those shoes and that pom pom on her handmade bag is everything!

Last and certainly not least is Barbi from Southern Blonde Chic. Barbi is looking lovely in this gorgeous hot pink maxi and turquoise earrings. I love the flow of this dress and the shape it gives with its empire waistline. This dress is perfect for a date night or wedding reception. Barb knocked it out of the park by completing this look with a neon Aztec clutch that is to die for!

As you can see, Scout and Molly's has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for work out or night out, this chic boutique has looks for all ages and any occasion. You can find them at the Specialty Shops at South Park across from the South Park Mall, on Instagram or online

A special thank you to Scout and Molly's for hosting us and to Say Cheese CLT for capturing out beautiful lookbook this week!

4 for Fashion : Blue Hem

-

Happy Thursday Friends!

If you're like me ... you've had a week, but have no fear Friday is coming and she's bringing wine!

Until she arrives, I have a brand new 4 For Fashion edition of "All Of The F-Words" to keep us entertained! If you missed the initial launch of "4 For Fashion", let me clue you in on who we are. 4 For Fashion is a group of women of all ages and walks of life, assembled to create stylish inspirations for anyone in their 20's, 30's, 40's or 50's! We like to think you can be stylish at ANY AGE!

This week my girls and I are spotlighting a staple on the Queen City shopping scene. Blue Hem is a pure, premium, denim shopping experience.

We all know how dishearting jean shopping can be, but Blue Hem takes the guesswork out of finding your perfect size and fit. They carry lines for men and women in all colors and sizes. Blue Hem even carries shorts and overalls from bootlegged to distressed.

Rachel, Laura, Barbi and myself all visited Blue Hem on Camden Road at different times, to select our looks. The great thing about Blue Hem is the selection! All four of us found looks we loved to suit our personal styles.

I think if you read my blog you know that I LOVE super distressed denim and I am probably the most "rugged" out of our little ensemble. I found these amazing high rise, distressed, slim fit jeans by McGuire. The denim was worn in and soft. The jeans themselves never lost their shape during wear!  These jeans have a personality all their own so I chose to pair them with an everyday knotted tee, and simple silver jewelry.

Rachel from Queen City Chic is our little hipster! Rachel is in her 20's and has the perfect physique for this retro look. She opted for these stylish jean shorts by James Jeans. They are longer than your traditional denim shorts but she said the length was perfect! They stayed in place and the cut elongated her torso when paired with this double ruffle tee she chose to tie up!

Laura is the editor behind Smart Southern Style and I always love working with her because she sees the big picture in things. Laura's look this week is perfectly styled and shows her true fun loving personality! I mean who doesn't love leopard heels paired with jeans? Laura found a great pair of Joe's cropped, slightly distressed jeans that fit her like a glove!

Last and certainly not least is Barbi from Southern Blonde Chic, and she is just that! Barbi elected to stay on the traditional side this week and go for a classic jean by 3x1. She rolled the hemline for a cropped look and hit the nail on the head! This look is a must-have! Barbi paired these jeans with a bell-sleeved tunic and added a pop of color with a great earring. So on trend!

As you can see Blue Hem has something for everyone! You can find all of our looks (and more) at Blue Hem on Camden Road in Southend. From traditional blue jeans to colored denim or distressed to classic cuts, Blue Hem is a Charlotte treasure when it comes to finding the perfect jean for your body type.  You can reach Blue Hem at (980) 228-1868 or check out their Instagram for more looks you're sure to love!

A special thank you to Say Cheese CLT for a fun evening of shooting and gorgeous photos that captured the true style that Blue Hem has to offer!
